Degussa BioActives, Champaign, IL, has named Jack Chenault director of sales and marketing for dietary supplements in North America. Mr. Chenault has spent the past two years working in Germany as business manager responsible for functional foods with Degussa BioActives. In other news, Gary Shap has been appointed sales manager of the Northeast region for Degussa. Mr. Shap was previously with Daiichi Fine Chemicals.
